Job summary
A technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled network engineer to design and maintain network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, 2-5 years of experience, and strong knowledge of network protocols. Experience with various networking devices and monitoring tools is essential. CCNP certification is highly desirable, along with excellent communication skills.

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.

- Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and upgrades.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and network architecture principles.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices from vendors such as Cisco, HP Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Checkpoint
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG) and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- CCNP or equivalent certification is highly desirable; additional certifications (CCIE, JNCIE, etc.) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
