Job summary
An early childhood education organization in Singapore is seeking experienced educators to plan and deliver language lessons for young children. Candidates must have a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education or relevant ECDA certification. - ECDA certification is preferred.
- Relevant experience in early childhood education is needed.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver language lessons according to the curriculum.
- Design and implement activities for young children's development.
- Ensure children's safety, health, and well-being at all times.
- Engage children with meaningful learning activities.
- Observe and document children's learning progress and behavior.
Skills
Education
- Principal: $5,000 – $7,500
- Vice Principal: $4,500 – $5,000
- English / Malay / Chinese Language Teacher: $3,600 – $4,600
- Infant Care Teacher: $2,800 – $3,600
- Assistant Teacher: $2,200 – $2,500
- 5-day work week (Monday to Friday)
- Islandwide deployment (assigned to centres near your residence where possible)
- Plan and deliver English, Malay, or Chinese language lessons in accordance with the organisation’s curriculum framework
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate programmes for young children
- Ensure the safety, health, and well‑being of children at all times
- Engage children through meaningful learning activities to enhance their development
- Observe, assess, and document children’s learning progress, behaviour, social development, and physical health
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education, or
- ECDA certification (L1 / L2 / EY1 / EY2 / LON), or
- Relevant experience in early childhood education
