About the Position

Rainbow Cove Preschool is seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool English/Art Teacher to join our dynamic team. If you are fluent in English and enthusiastic about early childhood education, this is an opportunity to inspire young learners in a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment that embraces play‑based and holistic learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging, appropriate lesson plans that support children’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Observe, document, and assess children’s progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families while fostering an inclusive classroom culture
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised learning environment in line with regulatory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the preschool team to enhance teaching practices and support school development
Art Teaching Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct art lessons for different groups
  • Teach drawing and sketching techniques using a variety of methods
  • Guide children in colouring, painting, shading, and other art forms
  • Instruct children on the safe and proper use of art tools and materials
Requirements
General
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (Singapore‑recognised)
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience in a childcare or preschool setting
  • Warm, nurturing disposition with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, dependable, and genuinely passionate about working with young children
  • Valid First Aid certification and ECDA registration (preferred)
Art‑Specific
  • Major in Fine Arts, Design, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience teaching art to children
  • Strong classroom and group management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask effectively
