Trading Applications Support Engineer
Job summary
A technology services provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced technical support professional to provide assistance for trading systems. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in trading infrastructure support and technical proficiency in Python and Linux, along with fluency in English and Mandarin. Join a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement and process automation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of trading infrastructure and application support experience.
- Strong technical skills in Python and Linux.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to internal trading systems.
- Respond to alerts, queries, and issues raised by trading teams.
- Facilitate onboarding of new accounts.
Skills
Education
- Provide technical support to internal trading systems, including troubleshooting and identifying root causes and proactively improve solutions and enhancements
- Timely respond to alerts, queries and issues raised by trading teams and resolve the tickets in a timely manner
- Facilitate onboarding of new accounts and complete setup in relevant trading-related systems
- Liaise with other teams and continuously develop innovative ways to improve processes and procedures
- Assist with system automation projects
- Document detailed procedures, review and enhance existing technical documentation
- 2+ years of trading infrastructure and application support experience
- Strong technical skills and interest in technologies such as Python & Linux
- Fluency in English & Mandarin Chinese to communicate effectively with colleagues across different locations
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure in a very fast-paced environment, and be able to adjust the priority of assignments on short notice
- Ideally with an advanced degree in STEM
