Job description

We are seeking an experienced M&E Contract Manager to be responsible for tendering, evaluation, and award processes for mechanical and electrical (M&E) works. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost control, contract administration, and coordination with consultants and subcontractors during the pre-contract and award stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage M&E tender documentation, including scope of works, bills of quantities, and specifications
  • Call, evaluate, and analyse tenders for M&E subcontract works
  • Conduct commercial and technical evaluations, clarifications, and negotiations
  • Prepare tender reports, recommendations, and documents for management approval
  • Assist in award of contracts, including preparation of Letters of Award and contract agreements
  • Liaise with consultants, engineers, quantity surveyors, and internal project teams
  • Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company procedures, and project budgets
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for tendering and award processes
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in M&E contract management, with strong exposure to tendering and awarding
  • Familiar with local construction contracts, tender procedures, and cost control practices
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and relevant QS / estimating tools (Cubicost)
  • Experience in Singapore construction projects will be an advantage
