Job summary
A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Supervisor / Senior Supervisor to oversee equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with safety protocols. The ideal candidate must have an NITEC in a relevant field, a Class 3 driving license, and experience in mechanical and electrical systems. Leadership skills are essential for supervising a team and minimizing downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in related fields.
- Relevant working experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Possess LTA Class 3 driving license and above.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate servicing, inspection, and maintenance.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and ensure compliance.
- Manage troubleshooting and re-activation during breakdowns.
Skills
Education
The Supervisor / Senior Supervisor is responsible in planning, supervising, co-ordinates repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure high equipment availability and reliability with safety and optimum cost.
- Plan, co-ordinates, and execution on with servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance to comply with safety to ensure minimum downtime
- Recommend overhaul of equipment to ensure no disruption to operations, best rectification proposal
- Provide supervision to supervisor/ Maintenance Technician
- Ensures troubleshooting, rectification, and re-activation of equipment to avoid delays and downtime during breakdown maintenance
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures
- Ensures safety policies, practices and good housekeeping are enforced
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head
- Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Motor Vehicle / Mechatronic or Diesel Mechanic
- Preferably with relevant working experience and knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical/ Electronic & Pneumatic
- Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above
