Job summary

A leading safety management company in Singapore is looking for a professional to oversee occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and facility management. Responsibilities include developing regional safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with OHS regulations like ISO 45001. Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have over 5 years of experience in OHS roles. Familiarity with facility maintenance and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Accountabilities

Occupational Health & Safety, Facility Management & Maintenance, Training & Awareness, Emergency Preparedness, Reporting & Documentation

Jobscope
  • Develop and implement regional OHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and support internal/external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, ISO 45001, and company safety standards.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities and building systems.
  • Coordinate vendors/contractors and monitor energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead safety training, awareness campaigns, and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Maintain safety and maintenance documentation, and report on KPIs and compliance.
Requirements
  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • More than 5 years in OHS roles with regional or multi-site responsibility
  • Experience in facility management and maintenance oversight
  • Knowledge of OHS regulations, ISO 45001, and risk management frameworks
  • Familiarity with building systems maintenance (HVAC, electrical, fire safety)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to lead safety initiatives and influence organizational culture
  • Proficiency in safety management software and MS Office tools
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certifications are a plus
  • Facility management certifications (e.g., IFMA CFM) are a plus
