Job summary
A leading manpower solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist the Engineering team by maintaining mechanical and electrical installations. The role involves troubleshooting equipment, providing production support, and performing preventive maintenance. Candidates must have Nitec or equivalent, relevant experience, and be able to work shifts. The position offers allowances for shifts and a collaborative work environment.

Skills
Education
Maintenance Technician Reporting to the Maintenance Manager in the Engineering Department, the selected incumbent shall assist the Engineering team in the following tasks.
- Assist in the maintenance of mechanical or electrical installations and equipment within the compound.
- Provide engineering support to the Production department.
- Diagnose and repair faulty equipment, perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdown.
- Carry out instrumentation calibration activities.
- In charge of maintenance and troubleshooting of entire facility duties.
- Minimum Nitec or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in electrical installation, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and electrical maintenance preferred.
- Experience in simple welding, piping work, and simple machining work.
- Must be able to assist in the maintenance of mechanical or electrical installations and equipment within the compound and able to work shifts.
- Positive, easy-going and a good team player.
Note: Candidate MUST BE willing to wear jumpsuit and mask as Personal Protective Equipment while working in the production area.
Working hours: During probation will be 8 am – 5.30pm, after probation rotating shift 8am -8pm (2hours OT).
Shift Allowance: $9 per morning shift & $18 per night shift.
