A leading firm in chemical engineering in Singapore is looking for a dedicated individual to conduct plant patrols and ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards. Ideal candidates will hold a NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Engineering and be comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts in Jurong Island. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular plant patrols to ensure high reliability and minimize production downtime.
• Maintain optimal operating conditions for the plant at all times.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate safety and HSE requirements.
• Handle sampling and in-process quality control (QC) analysis.
• Prepare master batch sub-raw materials according to production requirements.
• Assist the Shift Superintendent in taking prompt and appropriate action during plant emergencies.
• Perform basic maintenance on plant equipment when necessary.

Education

NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Process Technology or equivalent
