Résumé du poste
A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Environmental Officer to implement and monitor environmental systems. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, advising management on environmental issues, and preparing control programs. Candidates must hold a Certificate of Competency in Earth Control Measures and have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant environmental management experience.
- Ability to conduct site inspections and monitor compliance.
- Proficient in preparing environmental control programs.
Responsabilités
- Implement and monitor Environmental Management System at the work site.
- Conduct regular site inspections for environmental compliance.
- Advise management on environmental issues and solutions.
Connaissances
Formation
- Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Environmental Management System of work site
- Conduct regular site inspections and follow-up actions to ensure environment compliance
- Advise General Manager/ Project Manager on site environmental issues and solutions
- Report and recommend on remedial measures on environmental issues
- Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Programme to GM/ PM
- Organise campaigns, training courses and other activities to develop and sustain the interest of staff and workers in maintaining good environmental health standards in the construction site
- Submit monthly report to Management/Client
- Posses “Certificate of Competency (CoC) in Earth Control Measures (ECM) for Construction site Personnel”
- Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO);
- At least 5 years of relevant experience;
- Strong knowledge of all relevant environmental policies, legislations and guidelines;
- Independent, with strong discipline and accountability.
