Job summary
A healthcare recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a Clinical Nurse to supervise and evaluate nursing activities. The ideal candidate should have a minimum Diploma or Degree in Nursing with experience in geriatric or palliative care. Working hours are 44 hours per week with rotating 12-hour shifts. Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Nursing with relevant experience.
- Experience in geriatric or palliative settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform, supervise and evaluate clinical nursing activities.
- Maintain and improve clinical nursing standards and quality.
- Orientate and supervise clinical practice of Enrolled Nurses and care staff.
Skills
Education
Working hours: 44 hours / week. 12 hour rotating shift (AM and PM shift), rostered 4 days a week and on some weekends (rotational basis)
- Perform, supervise and evaluate clinical nursing activities.
- Maintain and improve clinical nursing standards and quality.
- Orientate, supervise and evaluate clinical practice of Enrolled Nurses and care staff as and when assigned.
- Coordinate total client care with all members from Nursing as well as other departments in delivering quality service to residents, relatives, visitors and volunteers.
- Participate in evaluation of clinical guidance and training programs.
- Ensure Nursing Care Plan (NCP) is regularly updated and care rendered is based on the outcome of the care plan.
Min Diploma / Degree in Nursing or similar with relevant experience in geriatric or palliative settings
