Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to provide quality nursing care, coordinate patient assessments, and manage medical supplies. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in nursing, is registered with SNB, and has experience in geriatric or palliative care settings. Strong clinical skills and team leadership experience are essential. Competitive salary range is $4300 - $5000 with a 5.5-day work week.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessment.
  • Coordinate patient care and provide quality nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
  • Demonstrate competency in clinical nursing skills and knowledge
  • Provide patient education for family members.
  • Record and maintain proper accurate documentation of patient's progress.
  • Assists doctors and attend to emergency calls whenever necessary.
  • Perform appropriate interventions for effective patient's outcomes.
  • Manage and monitor medical supplies, equipment and consumables inventory
  • Practise safety and infection control precautionary measures
  • Participate in patients' rehabilitation, involving the patients' family.
  • Manage rendered in the notes, medication records and charts of patients.
  • Participate in medical emergencies or crisis situations as appropriate.
