Job summary
A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled professional to manage drawing coordination and technical detailing. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Responsibilities include producing detailed drawings that meet project requirements and ensuring compliance with local standards. This role demands independence and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Professional certification in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software is preferred.
- Understanding of BCA regulations and construction drawing standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan and produce detailed design, shop, coordination, and as-built drawings.
- Develop interface details ensuring integration of civil and structural elements.
- Manage drawing deliverables with accuracy and adhere to project timelines.

- Drawing Management & Coordination: Plan and produce detailed design, shop, coordination, and as-built drawings that meet project and engineering requirements across all disciplines.
- Technical Detailing: Develop interface details between architectural finishes and services, ensuring seamless integration of civil and structural elements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of BCA and other regulatory standards to ensure drawings align with authority requirements.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize CAD tools and leverage Revit capabilities to convert 3D designs into annotated 2D drawings with precision.
- Quality & Timeliness: Manage drawing deliverables efficiently while ensuring high standards of accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
- Independent Execution: Work independently with ownership and accountability to meet tight deadlines and deliver expected outputs.
- Degree or Diploma Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline from a recognized institution. Professional certification in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software is preferred.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit is a strong advantage
- Understanding of BCA regulations and construction drawing standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-pacedenvironment.
