Job summary
A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing activities and supplier relations. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include purchasing equipment and supplies, adhering to procurement policies, maintaining inventory records, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure effective procurement practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in procurement.
- Strong sense of responsibility and positive working attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate records.
Skills
- Purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing and approving products and services to be purchased.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Request and review quotations, communicate and negotiate with suppliers, processing orders into Auto count/ERP.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Maintaining ISO procurement.
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
- General filing.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in procurement.
- Independent, proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Positive working attitude and able to work well under minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
