Production Support Analyst (Level 3) _Contract
Job summary
A prominent technology company in Singapore is seeking a Production Support Analyst to provide Level 3 and Level 4 support for banking applications. The ideal candidate should have over 6 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in SQL, Java, and Red Hat Linux. You will be responsible for resolving incidents, collaborating with teams, and ensuring system stability. Competitive compensation and comprehensive working environment offered.

- Analyse Level 3 production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Fix production defects and work with developers for enhancements.

- Guide offshore team members and provide technical direction.

This role supports mission-critical banking applications, providing Level 3 and Level 4 production support in a fast-paced environment. You will analyse incidents, resolve defects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure system stability for enterprise-scale platforms.
☑ L3 – 6 + years
- Analyse and resolve Level 3 production incidents with full root cause analysis.
- Fix production defects and work with developers on enhancements and CRs.
- Update Jira and Confluence with change details, investigation notes, and release info.
- Collaborate with peer developers, platform teams, and shared service teams for code and solution review.
- Diagnose and resolve issues escalated from Level 2 support and participate in service recovery activities.
- Coordinate with testing teams to ensure high-priority defects are resolved promptly.
- Participate in defect triage, code handover sessions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure regular and clean code merges to Git repositories.
- Take end-to-end ownership of production fixes until successfully deployed.
- Guide offshore team members and provide technical direction.
- Support release activities and ensure alignment with banking technology standards.
- SQL, MariaDB or other RDBMS
- Java (debugging, defect fixing)
- JUnit, Mockito
- Red Hat Linux & Shell scripting
- Splunk (log analysis, monitoring)
- React JS (basic troubleshooting)
- Git / DevOps exposure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in banking or financial domain
- Prior L3/L4 production support for large enterprise systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent
