Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a dedicated production technician to manufacture units, manage WIP levels, and perform simple maintenance. The ideal candidate should have a NITEC or Diploma in Electronics Engineering and be able to operate complex test tools while interpreting results. This is a 1-year contract position with a shift work requirement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read or interpret test results.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture production units to meet performance objectives.
• Perform maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
• Manage the WIP level.
• Accurate reporting of anomalies during the production process.
• Involve in 5S and Kaizen initiatives.
• Support administrative works and production tasks.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• To manufacture production units to meet performance objectives with minimum supervision
• To perform simple maintenance and calibration of test means or equipment whenever necessary with the support of Test Engineering dept.
• Manage the WIP level
• Accurate reporting of any anomalies encountered during production process. Detect and alert in case of default or results deviations (even if still within the good range)
• To involve in 5S and Kaizen initiatives
• To support administrative works (Raise PR, Document Archiving Process) and production task as per assigned by team lead/supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Working Hours: 5 Days, Shift work may be expected
