Description
Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate the end-to-end execution of projects, system enhancement and initiatives for the equity and wealth-related business including facilitate system and process testing in an Agile environment across regional platforms, collaborating with different business units, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery, scope adherence, and quality standards
- Develop comprehensive project plans, documentation, and diagrams to track progress, facilitate communication, and ensure clarity among cross‑functional teams.
- Raise and review user story and follow up promptly, review/ conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), manual and automation teams to ensure testing is executed within stipulated timeframes.
- Collaborate with design teams to conceptualize and review workflows, screen designs, and specifications, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Review narratives, sprint plans, and test strategies with technology counterparts to ensure specifications are accurately translated into deliverables.
- Monitor platform performance, analyse data to identify areas for improvement, and drive optimisation initiatives to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Apply strategic planning and structured thinking to develop feasible solutions for business and technical challenges.
- Oversee the operational rollout of wealth and investment-related services via internet and mobile channels, ensuring smooth deployment and seamless user experience.
- Develop and maintain guides, resources, and documentation for internal and external users to support platform adoption and usage.
- Support post‑implementation activities, including user training, touchpoint management, production issue investigation, escalation, and resolution.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to promote platform features, increase adoption, and support revenue and acquisition targets.
- Manage day-to-day business operations such as respond promptly to daily online equity trading inquiries from Relationship Managers, providing guidance on platform functionalities and capabilities.
- Perform ad‑hoc administrative tasks as required, demonstrating a proactive and self‑starter approach with strong business acumen.
- Ensure the ongoing operational stability of systems and platforms, resolving issues efficiently and effectively to meet organisational goals.
- Ensuring production issues are resolved within SLA and following up for closure on issues, backlogs and fix deliveries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with 4-6 years of relevant experience. Preferably with a background in Consumer Banking, Mobile/Internet Banking, or investment products such as equities, unit trusts, and foreign exchange. Experience in launching online services for investment products and high-net-worth clients is a strong advantage.
- Well‑developed business acumen with a good understanding of equity markets, trading principles, and investment product operations.
- Approximately 3-4 years of experience in executing projects related to investment products, with a proven track record in requirements gathering, business analysis, and close interaction with business users.
- Strong IT background, preferably with hands‑on experience in implementing system projects, portfolio management platforms, or position‑keeping systems such as AVALOQ or Finacle Wealth Management System.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail. Results‑oriented, driven, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment, with strong time‑management and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with product specialists, operational teams, and technical teams.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to take initiative, multi‑task, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
