Job summary

A company in the marine industry based in Singapore is looking for a professional to manage tender processes and client relations. Responsibilities include preparing costs, coordinating tender documents, and negotiating contracts. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the marine sector, a degree in Business or Engineering, and strong skills in negotiation and contract management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in marine industry.
• Good working & positive attitude.
• Meticulous and self-motivated.
• Some technical knowledge of marine equipment and material.
• Knowledge in establishing contracts and purchase agreements.
• Some technical knowledge of marine equipment and material.
• Good commercial sense.
• Knowledge in establishing contracts and purchase agreements.
• Knowledge of legal terms a plus point.
• IT savvy (Excel, Words, Power point, Project).
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to travel to shipyard / oversea for attending meetings when required.
• Proficiency in Chinese will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with client / broker for new opportunities.
• Prepare costing framework once receive enquiry request.
• Manage equipment contract for delivery timeline and milestone payout.
• Coordinate and collate all tender documents.
• Assist in contract discussions / negotiations if required.
