Job summary
A leading renewable energy company in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Battery Energy Storage System projects across the APAC region. This role involves managing project execution from contract signing to delivery and ensuring effective communication among cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have a degree in electrical engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English and a willingness to travel are essential.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in project management or technical delivery.
- Knowledge of grid-connected systems and BESS technologies.
- Proficiency in English; additional APAC languages are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of BESS projects across APAC.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for project implementation.
- Act as primary customer contact during project execution.

- Manage end-to-end execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the APAC region—from contract signing to delivery, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, Logistics, Project Delivery, and After-Sales Service, to ensure smooth and timely project implementation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the project execution phase, ensuring clear communication, expectation alignment, and rapid issue resolution.
- Support contract execution by developing project plans, tracking milestones, managing scope, clarifying technical requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Monitor project schedules, risks, compliance requirements, and quality standards to ensure full alignment with contractual obligations and company processes.
- Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and operational challenges and maintain project momentum.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and post-project summaries to support internal reviews and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, Energy, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management or technical delivery, preferably within renewable energy, power systems, or energy storage.
- Knowledge of grid-connected systems, electrical engineering fundamentals, and BESS technologies is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with energy storage project delivery is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required; additional APAC regional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region when required.
