Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Skills
Education
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Process employee expense claims, vendor invoices, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and record financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform bank, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor cash flow and budget preparation and forecasting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for cost‑saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial policies, and internal controls.
- Work with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Manage petty cash, and reimbursements.
- Use accounting software to manage financial transactions efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve accounting workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus.
- Knowledge of international financial regulations and accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
- Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and auditing processes.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling).
