Job summary

A leading HR consulting firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Wastewater Treatment Operator to ensure compliance with water quality standards in treatment plants. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Chemistry and at least 2 years of relevant experience. They will study and design processes, maintain equipment, and promote safety practices. Job description

Responsibilities

• Study and review the equipment and Design treatment processes in wastewater treatment plants. Be responsible for the water quality compliance for individual WWTP plant.
• Assist in maintaining proper maintenance and safety integrity of plant. Ensuring all equipment is in working condition with minimum downtime and regular servicing is carried out.
• Ensure all designated equipment calibrations and inspections are up to date.
• Work closely with PSM team and lab department on waste flow and waste treatment method.
• Assist in promoting WSH activities to operator(s).
• Assist in optimization of operation treatment, manpower allocation as well as continuous improvement on WWTP operation.
• Ensure the treated wastewater compliance with sewer discharge limit.
• Adhere to all safety requirements within the plant, such as safe work practices, SOP.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Chemistry or a related field.
• Self‑motivated; works effectively both independently and in a team to complete tasks.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in water treatment plant operations.
• Able to perform overtime/shift work.
