Job summary
A global financial services company is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst for its Singapore team. This role involves developing cutting-edge cloud-native applications in a dynamic environment, collaborating with global teams to deliver solutions in futures clearing technology. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of IT experience, expertise in Java, Angular, and microservices architecture, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science. A strong emphasis on mentoring and adherence to coding standards is required, alongside excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- Sound technical background with a passion for emerging technologies.
- Experience designing and developing cloud native applications with microservices architecture.
- Strong experience in validating testing and quality assurance.
- Detail-oriented and self-organized individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test resilient, scalable, and reusable services and APIs.
- Architect and implement technical solutions conforming to standards.
- Develop reusable software components in a microservices cloud-native architecture.
- Implement automated build, test and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.
