Job summary

Job description

What the role is:

You manage the end to end production process to fulfil the Homeland Security Operations requirements. As a team lead, you have to ensure the creation, integration, update and Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Check(QC) of 3D Interior and Exterior models and geospatial data.

What you will be working on:

• Understand and support Homeland Security Operations and ensure Geospatial products are standardised
• Generate and update 3D models
• Ensure Quality Assurance/Quality Check of 3D models and geospatial models produced conform to geospatial policies and standards
• Provide secretariat support for inter-ministry meetings
• Develop training packages for personnel
• Challenge(s)- Ensuring seamless application and data interoperability between MINDEF/SAF and stakeholders
• Managing delivery timelines to stakeholders to fulfil operational requirements

What we are looking for:

• Education in relevant discipline preferably in Geospatial Sciences, Applied Geographic Information System, Civil Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or Geography
• Prior working experience in Geospatial/Geographic Information System (GIS)/Data governance and relevant experience in Homeland Security domain is advantageous
• Proficiency and good understanding of Geospatial and GIS applications
• General understanding of Homeland Security Operations
• Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
• Preparedness to work extended hours in event of contingency (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
