Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive the development and execution of our technology strategy, with a strong focus on innovation in DeFi and trading systems. This role will be instrumental in building secure and high-performance platforms, growing and mentoring technical teams, and aligning technology initiatives with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will drive our competitive edge in a rapidly evolving market by combining technical excellence with strategic foresight.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive Execution: Translate high-level technology strategy into actionable plans and workstreams across engineering teams.
• Ensure Alignment: Maintain architectural and technical fidelity to our roadmap; escalate and resolve deviations proactively.
• Lead and Inspire: Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and accountability.
• Delivery Management: Own timelines, delivery milestones, and dependencies; ensure that initiatives ship on time and meet technical standards.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business and engineering teams to align scope, priorities, and implementation plans.
• Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on technical guidance as needed; contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Risk & Quality Management: Identify execution risks early and help teams stay unblocked; enforce quality through processes like CI/CD, testing, and performance monitoring.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track progress toward technical goals and report regularly on delivery status, blockers, and resource needs.

Job Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Highly motivated and self-driven leader with a proven ability to inspire, influence, and motivate diverse, high-performing technology teams.
• Proven experience managing the execution of complex technical projects across teams.
• Strong understanding of systems architecture, SDLC, and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills; able to bridge the gap between strategic vision and engineering detail.
• Track record of delivering high-quality software on time and within scope.
• Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and navigating ambiguity.
• Prior involvement in defining or evolving a technology strategy is a plus.
• Experience in trading systems, cryptocurrencies and DeFi are pluses.
