Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage Accounts Receivable and Payable, process general expenses, and assist with GST submissions. Candidates should hold a diploma or degree in Accountancy or Finance, with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry. Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and experience with Sun Systems will be advantageous. Applications are encouraged in MS Word format.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction.
  • Familiarity with SFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Experience in handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities

  • Process general expenses and HQ costs.
  • Prepare documents for bank remittances.
  • Assist with GST submission and other regulatory filings.
  • Liaise with Group companies regarding related-party transactions.
  • Monthly/Quarterly account closing and bank reconciliation.
