Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Specialist / Senior Technical Specialist to support the maintenance and overhaul of Ride and Show vehicles in a workshop environment. The role involves performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring the reliability and availability of ride equipment in accordance with OEM specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform overhaul works on Ride & Show vehicles which includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in a workshop environment.
  • Cleaning, inspection and measurement on ride vehicle parts.
  • Carry out fitting, alignment and assembly of parts based on OEM specifications.
  • Logs completion of maintenance inspections, corrective action and/or repairs made using maintenance system.
  • Perform troubleshooting and recovery of Ride and Show related faults.
  • Responsible for individual rides, inventory tracking and accounting.
  • Perform routine maintenance on ground equipment, general housekeeping and tools control.
  • Operation of equipment like hydraulic presses, overhead cranes, post lift, bandsaw, grinders, drilling machines.
  • Any other related work as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study.
  • 2-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance is preferred. Candidates without prior experience but with a keen interest in developing their technical skills will also be considered.
Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and mechanical or electrical drawings to carry out work assignments.
  • Knowledge of using torque wrenches, precision measuring equipment, and general hand or powered tools.
  • Able to perform occasional night and outdoor work, when required for operational needs.
  • Able to work at height, where job duties require.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office).
  • Prior experience in attractions maintenance (mechanical or electrical), a machining background, or possession of a Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage.
