Job summary

Job Description
Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager to join our business planning team. This role is responsible for driving data-informed decision-making by performing financial and business analysis across RWS operations. You will lead efforts in forecasting, market research, and benchmarking to uncover insights and identify opportunities for improvement. By delivering clear, actionable recommendations, you'll play a key role in enhancing productivity, optimizing performance, and supporting strategic growth across the integrated resort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse financial and statistical data of RWS business to identify trends and opportunities and develop recommended solutions for implementation by the relevant Business Units
  • Prepare financial / operational forecasting, including but not limited to cash flow projections to facilitate decision-making by the relevant Business Units
  • Conduct competitor and market intelligence studies
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting for management and Business Units
  • Conduct business intelligence analysis and benchmarking study for continuous improvement of RWS products, services, processes, productivity, and yield
  • Communicate and/or present findings, recommendations in a clear, concise manner to management and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Accountancy, Finance, or related fields
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of financial and business analysis experience in Business Planning / FP&A / similar field and experience
  • Experience in the Hospitality industry will be an added advantage
Required Skills
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis, qualitative research, and financial modelling using Excel
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven ability to derive actionable insights from large data sets and/or information
  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong report-writing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience managing various internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in or familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI an added advantage
