Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage financial close processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least 3 years of relevant experience. This position offers a competitive salary package and an opportunity to act as a finance partner to the business units.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Professional qualification (ACCA Level 3 & above/CA/CPA) is a must.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including experience with entity-level ownership or financial close.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage and execute month-end and year-end closing for assigned entities.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS or local accounting standards.
- Act as a finance partner to business units, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Location: Sin Ming
Salary: Up $6,000 basic + $120 transport voucher (after confirmation) + VB
Duration: Perm
Working hours: Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm
- Independently manage and execute month-end and year-end closing for assigned entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and balance sheet schedules.
- Own the general ledger and ensure compliance with group policies and local statutory requirements.
- Analyze revenue and expense accounts, providing variance analysis and insightful explanations.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS or local accounting standards and maintain high-quality documentation and internal controls.
- Prepare and review management and statutory financial statements.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits, ensuring efficient completion of audit deliverables.
- Support preparation of corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other statutory filings, coordinating with external service providers where necessary.
- Act as a finance partner to business units, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Evaluate, design, and implement process improvements leveraging technology tools such as NetSuite, Excel, or automation platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Professional qualification (ACCA Level 3 & above/CA/CPA) is a must.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including experience with entity-level ownership or financial close.
