A leading finance organization based in Singapore is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations across Singapore and Malaysia. In this strategic role, you will oversee compliance, budgeting, and operational risk management while developing a high-performing finance team. The ideal candidate will have significant senior finance leadership experience and a strong background in IFRS reporting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of senior finance leadership experience, ideally within international manufacturing or marine industries.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting.
  • Professional certification (CA, CPA, or ACCA) preferred.

Overview

The CFO is responsible for leading all financial, accounting, compliance, and administrative functions across Singapore and Malaysia operations. This strategic leadership role supports business growth, ensures financial health, and maintains alignment with group-level policies and international standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee accounting, treasury, financial control, and statutory reporting in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Partner with senior management to drive business planning, profitability analysis, and investment evaluation.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate governance and ethical standards.
  • Identify and manage financial and operational risks, including cash flow, FX, and insurance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, promoting accuracy, transparency, and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Minimum 8 years of senior finance leadership experience, ideally within international manufacturing or marine industries.
