PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Campus Safety & Security
Define, implement, and manage comprehensive security systems and emergency protocols, including key/lock systems, CCTV surveillance, emergency broadcasts, and response plans.
Manage on-site security contracts and cultivate working relationships with local police and Embassy security personnel in Singapore.
Develop and oversee student, parent, staff, and visitor identification systems, including ID badges, automobile tags, and digital tracking systems.
Facilities Use & Event Coordination
Define and implement campus facilities usage policies in collaboration with academic leadership.
Coordinate facilities setup and support for school-wide events, classroom changes, and extracurricular in cooperation with the events coordinator.
Monitor wear-and-tear from events and propose timely maintenance.
Vendor and Contract Management
Establish, manage, and evaluate service agreements with key contractors including landscaping, pest control, custodial services, maintenance, security, and food services.
Ensure performance standards are met and aligned with school values and expectations.
Asset & Inventory Oversight
Develop and maintain an inventory control system to track physical assets across campus to support the finance team in depreciation accounting.
Oversee procurement and timely ordering of campus furniture and maintenance supplies.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain proactive communication systems to update staff, students, and parents about facilities issues, maintenance schedules, and safety information.
Serve as a key liaison between the facilities department and other departments to ensure campus readiness and support.
Strategic Support
Advise school leadership on facility-related decisions including space usage, capital improvement needs, and major purchases.
Assist in developing facilities budgets and provide input on vendor selection, pricing, and lifecycle planning.
Demonstrate flexibility by working varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support school operations and events.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Working knowledge of building and grounds maintenance, repairs/renovations, and security systems.
Knowledge of office computer software (email, internet, and word processing) and software skills required to set up and manage facilities management systems: network printers, ID badge systems, security software, and project/problem ticketing systems.
Experience in contract negotiation, contractor management, and problem resolution.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
A Christian with a consistent testimony among his/her family and peers.
Physically able to perform maintenance duties where necessary.
Able to work varied hours including occasional weekends and evenings.
