The HS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong HS culture across the organization. Additionally, the role includes managing HS resources, conducting audits, overseeing training, investigating accidents, and leading a high-performing safety team.

1. Establish and implement health and safety policies aligned with regulations.
2. Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments to prevent incidents.
3. Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety laws.
4. Conduct safety training for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
5. Perform regular inspections to monitor safety compliance and address issues.
6. Investigate accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
7. Develop emergency response plans and ensure staff awareness.
8. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on-site.
9. Promote open discussions about safety concerns and best practices.
10. Ensure contractors comply with the company’s safety policies.
11. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, training, and inspections.
12. Update policies based on industry trends and feedback.
13. Conduct audits to assess and improve safety performance.
14. Communicate with authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
15. Organize safety briefings to discuss key risks and safety measures.
16. Ensure all incidents are reported, investigated, and documented.
17. Encourage employee participation in safety initiatives and hazard reporting.

We Are Looking For:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. 8+ years of experience in HS, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
3. Knowledge of environmental health and sustainability regulations related to construction.
4. Strong knowledge of HS regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
5. Experience with ISO certification processes and occupational health & safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, CSP).
6. Experience working with IPO-listed companies and understanding regulatory compliance related to public entities.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
8. Strong leadership, risk management, and communication skills.
9. Ability to develop and implement HS policies, training programs, and audits.
10. Experience in conducting risk assessments and accident investigations.
11. Familiarity with safety audits, both internal and external.
12. Ability to lead and coach a high-performing HS team.
