A leading engineering firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Civil Engineer to prepare erection plans and assembly drawings based on customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, relevant certifications, and at least 3-5 years of experience, with strong proficiency in engineering design software.

Job description

Reviews and understands project design drawing requirements based on the approved CIF and customer specification.
Prepares Erection Plan (details, dimensions, member descriptions, piece mark, key plan, bill of materials, bolts piece mark, bolts quantity, bolt length, bolted and connected members, drawings title, job number and description) and assembly drawing, based on customer’s standards, design drawings, connection design, advance BOM and substitution alerts.
Coordinates and discusses between group leader and other detailers for project requirement and consistency and to ensure it complies with the customer’s standards.

Job Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed engineer with certification / knowledge in international building codes and design standards, membership / certification in international engineering societies an advantage.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in similar capacity, 2 to 3 years of which must be in shop and erection drawing preparations.
Excellent communication skills in English Language (oral and written)
Proficiencies in Engineering Design Software like AUTOCAD, X-Steel, TEKLA
Proficiencies in MS Office Applications and other desktop utilities
High Degree of flexibility
