The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high‑calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Manage day‑to‑day design activities across assigned projects.
  • Manage and coordinate the overall design process from concept through to construction and hand‑over.
  • Define and monitor design deliverables, ensuring submissions are complete, accurate and on time.
  • Deliver design outputs aligned with strategic KPIs, programme, and budget requirements.
  • Implement and maintain design management systems, ensuring legal and contractual compliance.
  • Lead safety, quality, and sustainability standards across all design activities.
  • Resolve client design issues and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Support business development through technical input and design leadership.
You’ll need to have:
  • A degree and background in Architecture or Engineering
  • Proven track leading Design Management for large‑scale regional infrastructure projects.
  • Membership of RIBA, MICE, CIBSE, CIOB, RICS, CIAT or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development is preferred.
  • Knowledge of building safety legislation, building standards, construction contracts, professional appointments and health and safety legislation.
