The project:

This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands‑on Construction Management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub‑contract packages.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • End‑to‑end contracts management for a major construction project.
  • Procure and onboard contractors, overseeing site mobilisation and delivery.
  • Support pre‑contract activities for complex packages including early works, main works, and services.
  • Administer contracts, manage claims, variations, and time extensions.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate complex agreements and change orders.
  • Monitor and report costs, ensure budget adherence, and manage valuations.
  • Support the production and present monthly cost reports to clients.
  • Engage directly with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
  • Apply expertise in FIDIC contracts and payment mechanisms for post‑contract management.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, commercial, and sustainability requirements.
You’ll need to have:
  • Degree in quantity surveying / commercial management (or equivalent).
  • Professional membership i.e. MRICS (or equivalent).
  • Major project experience is essential.
  • Main Contractor experience £250+.
  • Consultancy experience £1bn+.
