Job summary

A leading provider of industrial automation is seeking a skilled sales and engineering professional to build and maintain relationships, identify business opportunities, and develop technical offers. Ideal candidates will have 12+ years of experience and strong technical knowledge in relevant areas. Fluency in English is required, and Arabic is a plus. This role is based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years Sales & Engineering experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships including government entities.
  • Identify opportunities and relevant decision makers.
  • Analyze competitive, sales, marketing information about potential business.
  • Manage Life opportunities in CRM and prepare materials for meetings.
  • Develop a consistent and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Conduct visits and calls to potential customers and follow up on leads.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships including government relevant entities in the industry such as and not limited to Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Environment, Water, etc.
  • Identify (Life: Pharma and F&B, Smart Cities and relevant) opportunities and the relevant decision makers.
  • Collect, compile, verify and analyze competitive, sales, marketing and other information about potential business; new markets, products and services; or other business opportunities.
  • Control, Manage & Update Life opportunities in CRM frequently. Prepare & Deliver documents and materials on company products/services (for example reports, presentations, information packages) for meetings with customers, EPCs & End users.
  • Build a consistent and sustainable sales pipeline. Educate customers on new/enhanced product lines/services. Plant visits/development of customer relationships.
  • Actively pursue customer feedback. Understanding customer’s process & Main equipment.
  • Knowledge of Yokogawa product lines. Conduct visits and calls to potential customers, and follow up regional life leads within YMA. Participate in events and conferences on behalf of the company.
  • Preparation - Prepares/supports preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements.
  • Supports and monitors OI for Life Business as per the Business Unit Sales Target and its execution strategies and plans.
  • Develop, discover and execute to some extent Life Business Projects when required depending on the size of Project and the requirements.
Qualification And Experience
  • Preferably engineering graduate in Process Automation / Instrumentation / Chemical / Electronics & Electrical streams.
  • Minimum 12 years Sales & Engineering experience is preferable.
