Role Description

As our Sales Representative, KSA you shall – oversee the development of our commercial business activities. You will be responsible for the Sales & Marketing performance and share the responsibility for the performance of the region. The sales representative must be able to find customers for the new pallets and Packaging materials produced by the Dammam factory. With a direct report to the Sales Director and an indirect report to the Regional management located in UAE and from time to time also join workshops or other sourcing & sales related activities with the Global team based in Europe. Apart from receiving support from your direct references, you will be supported by our Global Sourcing & Sales organization – which include CTO-Wood (Technical advice on manufacturing/trading of wood products), CTO-Metal(Technical advice on manufacturing/trading of metal products), Marketing & Key Account Service Management, Supply Chain Management.

Sales & Business Development

  • Relations with potential new accounts as well as existing accounts must be done either alone or with the support of colleagues and partners. Even though electronic means of communication are provided and supported (MS Teams etc.) this will still include a fair amount of travelling.
  • The sales approach in PalletBiz is very consultative – we must be able to provide the customers with added value as part of our mission.
  • There will be existing support staff related to the KSA region already from the beginning who will have good existing understanding of PalletBiz and our industry to help plan, facilitate and execute sales of standard and custom Pallets & Packaging
  • Drive and manage the product mix development for your territory to reflect the market demand.

Market intelligence and Marketing

  • Leads, generated from the Marketing Department and your activities shall be followed up through electronic communication or direct physical meetings/site visits and data shall be updated in our CRM System (PCRM)
  • You will be responsible for identifying the sources used pallets to buy and resell it from your side
  • Prepare quotations, orders confirmations, sales reports, Delivery notes through ERP system
  • Distribute sales invoices to the customers and follow up the collection of the due amounts.
  • Together with the Global Marketing support team you will plan and execute the market communication directed at potential customers
  • We expect you to become the most knowledgeable person in our organization on the competitive environment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

Core skills – must have:

  • Relevant education / commercial knowledge / practical experience within B2B industry;
  • Being proficient in MS Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
  • Some practical experience with CRM systems;
  • Min. 4 years of sales experience
  • Working proficiency in English language (Group language).

Advanced skills – nice to have:

  • Having experience within the packaging and handling or wooden industry
  • Some experience with ERP systems – Quote to invoice process
  • 2+ years experience doing sales in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (preferably Eastern region).
  • Understanding other languages incl. Basic level Arabic
