Zenon are pleased to be working with one of the world’s fastest growing Helicopter companies with their recruitment of a Quality Director based in the Middle East.
As a leading provider of services ranging from HEMS, Utility, Surveying, VIP and Corporate Charter operations, this position requires an individual with extensive experience within a Quality environment with a prime focus on regulatory guidelines and compliance.
Your Responsibilities Will Be
- For the management of the quality department in achieving highest levels of safety and continuous improvement for the company.
- Develop, ensure, and implement standard practices within organisations departments.
- Develop and maintain close and strong harmonious relationship with the local regulatory authority representative and FAA/ EASA.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other company departments in facilitating and supporting their operations and functions.
- Overlook developing, maintaining, and revising the companies’ manuals and publications.
- Overlook and approve the audit plans and schedules of the quality audits and inspections.
- Overlook the development and execution of quality functions, checks, and investigations.
- Overlook the development of the company’s certification process.
- Overlook of all aircraft maintenance functions carried internally or by external maintenance providers.
- Audit and ensure the adherence of the company’s departments in alignment to the company’s policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- 9 years of maintenance experience on transport category aircraft to include 6 years in a management capacity.
- Familiar with GACARs and other (FAA/EASA) regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of flight and maintenance procedures, safety and reporting procedures, and laws and regulations pertaining to aircraft operations and maintenance in countries where company aircraft may be operated.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- GACA or FAA/ EASA B1 and or B2 license and must have held these ratings for at least ten years.
Possess well established management and communication skills, with an ability to work at a strategic level along with higher management.
