Job Description

• Conduct rigorous testing of valves under specified pressure and temperature conditions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize advanced testing equipment to accurately measure valve performance, identifying any deviations from specified tolerances.
• Document test results meticulously, providing clear and concise reports that facilitate effective communication with engineering teams.
• Perform visual inspections of valves to assess for defects, ensuring quality control at all stages of production.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, identifying opportunities for improvement within testing methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, adapting practices as necessary to meet evolving guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred to ensure a strong understanding of valve mechanics.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality control or testing roles, particularly in valve manufacturing or related industries.
• Certifications such as Six Sigma or ASQ Certified Quality Inspector to demonstrate commitment to quality improvement methodologies.
• Proficient in using testing software and tools, including pressure gauges and flow meters, for precise measurement and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
• Saudi Aramco project experience with SAP reference transmittal and CBT passed document
• Technical knowledge on Valve Testing process (Seat Test and Shell Test) of ball, gate, globe, plug, butterfly, control valves, PZV testing includes, Pop-Up Test, Seat leak test and back pressure test.
• Extensive experience in planning, controlling inspections, and contract scope of work in medium/large scale oil & gas, petrochemical industry.
