Job Title: Project Engineer– Power/Solar & Energy Projects
The Role Purpose
The Project Engineer will be responsible for independently managing assigned Electrical, Solar, Power, and Energy Services & Solutions projects from initiation to successful completion. This role ensures that projects are executed on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards.
Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution:
- Lead project execution, from pre-launch through contract review and order acknowledgment.
- Plan, monitor, and manage project activities to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Coordinate continuously with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee documentation, drawings, and quality submissions to customers.
- Ensure project closure with targeted milestones of cost, quality, and completion achieved.
Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using project management tools.
- Identify risks, delays, shortages, or nonconformities and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Profitability:
- Monitor, control, and optimize site activities to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Track project costs, budget adherence, and resource utilization.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Act as the primary customer interface, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Maintain the customer satisfaction index as per company targets.
Subcontractor Management:
- Manage site subcontracting activities by monitoring quality, timelines, and costs.
- Evaluate subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of +5 years’ project management experience (preferably in Electrical, Solar, Power, or Energy projects).
Core Competencies & Technical Skills
- Strong project management skills with experience in Ms. Project and other tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written).
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and maintain customer focus.
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and quality management in solar/power/energy projects.
- Service contract management, offer/application management, and quote management.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
