Job description

Job Summary :

The operatorposition performs all tasks on the production line under the supervision of skilled operators and Team Leaders.

Production process –Spoolable composite line pipe (RTP) and (RTR) filament winding.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY :

• Assist in machine set up as per production process run sheets.
• Load and unload raw materials during preparation and production process.
• Assist resin mixing in accordance to the procedures and maintains resin levels in baths.
• Performs visual and manual measurement inspections and records results. Alerts Team Leader to defects that are outside acceptable limits.
• Cleaning and prepares ovens after every run.
• Operate equipment that will cut, grind, bevel and test fiberglass pipes to it into finished product.
• Mix various adhesive, resins, coating and painting compounds used in the finishing & / or assembly process.
• Cut parts to be assembled.
• Fit, sand, assemble and bond parts into assemblies to complete customer orders.
• Maintain and record specified tolerance / dimensions as required on the manufacturing & Inspections reports and for accurate inventory management.
• Required to operator process related machines, Pallet truck and Forklift.
• Work in process extreme temperature.
• Cleaning of machine parts after every run.
• Performs other duties as assigned by skilled operators and / or team leaders.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Ability to learn quickly.
• Should be able to communicate in English. Arabic speaking is added advantage.
• Qualification : High school or equivalent.
• Experience working in a plant or manufacturing facility preferred.
• Dexterity required for operating machinery and computer.
• Team work - Should be detail-oriented and organized.
• Forklift driving experience would be preferred.
• Practice good housekeeping by maintaining a clean work environment.
