Job Title & Summary

MDM Governance Consultant – Master-Works is looking for a highly motivated MDM Governance Consultant to establish and oversee Master Data Management (MDM) governance processes within our organization. This role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and accountability of master data across various business units. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop best practices, policies, and standards for managing master data, driving organizational alignment and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Informatica MDM tools, including Informatica MDM Hub, Informatica Data Director, and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), to manage master data entities and related processes.
• Data Modeling: Designing and developing data models using Informatica MDM to represent master data entities, relationships, and hierarchies.
• Data Integration: Integrating Informatica MDM solutions with other systems and applications across the organization, such as CRM, ERP, and BI systems, to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Configuration and Customization: Configuring and customizing Informatica MDM workflows, business rules, data validation rules, and user interfaces to meet specific business requirements.
• Data Quality Management: Implementing data quality processes using Informatica IDQ to cleanse, standardize, and enrich master data, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Data Governance: Implementing data governance policies and procedures within Informatica MDM to enforce data standards, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Data Migration: Managing the migration of master data from legacy systems to Informatica MDM, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
• Performance Tuning: Optimizing the performance of Informatica MDM solutions by tuning configurations, workflows, and database settings to meet performance requirements.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conducting testing and quality assurance activities to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of Informatica MDM solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Creating technical documentation, including design documents, implementation guides, and user manuals, to support the implementation and maintenance of Informatica MDM solutions. Generating reports and metrics to monitor data quality and governance.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data architects, developers, and analysts, to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs; communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
• Training and Support: Providing training and support to end-users and stakeholders on Informatica MDM solutions, including best practices for data management and usage.
