We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Manager - Facility Maintenance to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our facility. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring optimal building conditions, and implementing cost-effective maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians
    • Assign tasks, prioritize work orders, and monitor performance
    • Develop and implement training programs for team members
  • Facility Maintenance:
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
    • Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities
    • Oversee building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
  • Vendor Relationships and Contracts:
    • Manage vendor relationships
    • Negotiate and administer contracts
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the facility maintenance budget
    • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and implement them
    • Monitor expenses and control costs
  • Emergency Response:
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans
    • Coordinate responses to facility emergencies
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance management
  • Deep technical proficiency in cold store maintenance and refrigeration system reliability
  • Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
