Overview

Pacific International Lines (PIL) is seeking a proactive Logistics Manager (Ad Dammam, Saudi Arabia) to optimize the supply chain, manage logistics partners, and ensure the efficient movement of goods in alignment with PIL’s operational goals. PIL provides local experiences with a global reach, with headquarters in Singapore and services offered at over 500 locations in 90 countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to meet the company’s operational and financial goals.
  • Oversee the management of warehouse, transportation, and distribution activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and international logistics regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop budgets and manage logistics costs to ensure profitability.
  • Lead and mentor the logistics team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
  • Support the organization in achieving its Intermodal budget by participating in the procurement process and establishing Standard Operating Procedures for the business.
  • Actively participate in the landside procurement process (e.g., depots, reefer services) to secure competitive operating costs. Engage vendors in performance reviews and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in logistics management systems and the Microsoft Office Suite
