About the Role

We are seeking a Local Project Manager to oversee the coordination and execution of a long‑term support and maintenance program for complex defense and armament systems.

This role serves as a key interface between the Client, local stakeholders, and the engineering and project management teams based in Europe.

The ideal candidate is a technically minded professional with strong communication skills, able to navigate operational, administrative, and intercultural aspects of a major defense program.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Oversight

• Manage the day‑to‑day operational follow‑up of the support and maintenance program.
• Facilitate communication between:
  • European project teams,
  • Local technical teams,
  • The Client's representatives.
• Track project progress, planning, deliverables, and documentation.

Customer Relationship & Issue Management

• Act as the primary point of contact with the Client on site.
• Identify, report, and follow up on technical or operational issues related to the systems in service.
• Coordinate with European technical experts to support troubleshooting and resolution.

Documentation Management

• Oversee the handling and organization of project documentation.
• Manage documentation in Arabic with the support of a translator.
• Ensure compliance, consistency, and proper version control.

Administrative & Financial Follow‑up

• Support contract‑related administrative processes.
• Monitor and coordinate payment follow‑up with the Client.
• Assist in the preparation and validation of administrative or contractual documents.

Profile

Technical Background

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with the maintenance or operation of complex technical systems (defense, aerospace, or industrial environments preferred). Experience in the Missile industry is a big plus.

Project Management Skills

• Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Strong organizational, planning, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal and customer‑facing abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Autonomous, rigorous, diplomatic, and service‑oriented.

Experience Level

• No strict requirement for years of experience.
