We are looking for highly qualified, energetic, adaptable, and experienced people to teach “University Life Skills”.
Life Skills course is in “Arabic” language. Successful candidates will be mostly committed to teaching / training and supporting fresh students enrolled in the Prep Year Program. Based on the applicant’s experience, they may be involved in curriculum development and participate in committees working towards the continuous improvement / enhancement of the Prep Year program. Also, they can pursue their research interests outside the working hours.
Successful candidates are expected to undertake teaching / training of Prep Year students to acquire life skills, among which: Service Learning; Community Service; Problem Solving; Leadership and team building; Setting Goals; Time Management; Thinking Skills, Presentation Skills; and Scientific Writing.
Holding formal relevant training certificates would be desirable. Teaching experience at a Western (USA, Canada, UK, Australia…) institution is preferred. The ability to assess and evaluate course outcomes and students’ performance is a plus.
