Overview

Job Opportunity: Charging System Engineer

Location: Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Contract: 1-Year (Extendable)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Charging System Engineer to join our team on a 1-year extendable contract in Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation, optimization, and maintenance of charging systems for a leading telecom operator. You will be responsible for system health, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting integration and network changes in line with industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and monitor IN network performance.
  • Act on network and equipment issues escalated from surveillance teams.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve system problems promptly.
  • Perform routine health checks to ensure smooth system operations.
  • Maintain and update software/hardware status.
  • Monitor performance parameters, identify degradations, and apply corrective actions.
  • Resolve service/network issues within agreed timelines and standards.
Key Skills & Experience Required
  • Strong knowledge of mobile technologies: GSM / WCDMA.
  • Hands-on experience with Ericsson Charging System nodes: SDP, AIR, CCN, OCC, NGVS, ECE, ECNMT, NeLS.
  • Expertise in system administration: Linux OS, Unix Shell scripting, Python, SQL, and Oracle Databases.
  • Solid understanding of IP networking protocols and call flows.
  • Knowledge of SDP geo-redundancy setups.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network issues.
  • Proficiency with Wireshark for packet analysis.
