Responsibilities

This technician supports the installation, maintenance, and servicing of commercial HVAC systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing on-site preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration after installation.
• Handling basic products and problems, referring complex issues to senior technicians.
• Using experience to determine service requirements.
• Advising managers on inspections and corrective actions.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining safety standards daily.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
• Working flexible hours, including overtime, on-call, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 2-6 years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience
• EPA Certification (Type I & Type II or Universal)
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Technical skills in maintenance, service, and troubleshooting
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Ability to complete repairs and documentation
• Ability to work independently and self-schedule
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed
• NATE certification is a plus
• Availability for on-call service coverage
• Occasional travel may be required

Physical Requirements

Technicians must be able to:

• Access rooftops via ladders
• Work at heights
• Load/unload tools and equipment
• Lifting up to 75 lbs. occasionally
• Lift to shoulder/overhead up to 25 lbs. occasionally
• Push/pull wheeled carts up to 150 lbs.
• Climb ladders
• Reach overhead repeatedly
• Manual tandem lift up to 125 lbs.
