Overview
Job Summary: Responsible for the overall appearance of the dine-in area, including the correct setup of tables and side stations and ensuring the service staff is ready to welcome and serve guests as per Patchi Café standards. The Head Waitress shall also provide training to help team members develop the required skills and will be supporting management with the planning and organizing of general procedures to ensure a smooth operation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete Patchi Café’s daily opening, running, and closing duties as per standards using checklists, in coordination with the service team.
- Attend and participate in daily briefings and other scheduled meetings.
- Train and evaluate Front-of-House personnel; communicate feedback on performance to management accordingly.
- Ensure all Front-of-House staff are correctly dressed and groomed as per Patchi Café’s set standards.
- Be an exemplary figure to Patchi Café’s service team to ensure that the operation runs efficiently and profitably by pre-established budgets and procedures.
- Supervise work schedules ensuring shifts are well covered by the right number of staff to minimize errors and service delays.
- Observe staff service standards while on duty and report back to management
- Ensure the Outlet’s cleanliness through proper task assignment and proper follow-up
- Brief the employees about their daily duties and reservations in coordination with management.
- Greet and welcome guests to the section in a warm and professional manner
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, menu ingredients, and food preparations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests as per the Patchi Café set sequence of service.
- Answer guests’ questions and queries.
- Deliver a prompt, efficient, and personalized experience to all guests respecting Patchi Café’s set standards
- Ensure guests’ satisfaction by responding promptly and courteous to any special requests.
- Politely and calmly acknowledge guest complaints and redirect them to management accordingly.
- Obtain guest feedback and notify management of any necessary follow-up.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Waitress with demonstrated ability to guide a team, preferably in a high-end concept.
