Machine Maintenance and Operation:

• Set up and calibrate coloring machines for different types of glass, ensuring the proper application of color without damaging the glass.
• Regularly clean and maintain coloring equipment to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machinery when necessary.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols while working with chemicals, equipment, and glass to minimize the risk of injury or accidents.
• Ensure all processes comply with company standards and industry regulations regarding health, safety, and environmental impact.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety standards for handling glass and chemical substances.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of the materials used, including the types of dyes, chemicals, and glass products processed.
• Document any issues, repairs, or adjustments made to equipment and the coloring process.
• Report production progress, quality control issues, and any safety concerns to the supervisor or manager.
• Work closely with other technicians, production workers, and the quality control team to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in the development and improvement of coloring techniques and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Participate in training and development activities to stay current with new techniques and industry trends.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or training in glass manufacturing or color application is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in glass manufacturing, coloring, or a related field.
• Experience in operating and maintaining industrial machinery is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with the types of chemicals, paints, and dyes used in glass coloring.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot coloring machines, such as spray booths, tumblers, or furnaces used in the glass finishing process.
• Knowledge of color theory and techniques to ensure uniform color application.
• Understanding of glass properties and how to achieve the desired effect without damaging the material.

Attention to Detail:

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate color application and high-quality results.
• Ability to spot defects in the glass and rectify them during the coloring process.

Physical Dexterity:

• Ability to handle glass products carefully to avoid damage during coloring and transportation.
