Responsibilities

You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental protocols across the data center construction site in Yanbu. The role demands a proactive approach to risk management, compliance with local and international safety standards, and coordination with project teams to ensure a safe working environment.

• Overall responsible for Data Center project execution and project management across the lifecycle of the project
• Collaborate with internal teams (design, procurement, operations, legal, business development etc.) to align construction activities with business objectives
• Perform due diligences on brown field projects or assets acquisition of data centre
• Involve and form strategy for construction of data centre from a constructability standpoint
• Assist in costing model of data centre
• Develop and manage capital budgets, schedules, and resource plans for projects
• Lead/support the selection of EPC contractor and contract management
• Liaise with EPC company & vendors / suppliers monitor and control the site progress to ensure work completed on‑time, within scope and budget
• Carry out the plan and construction drawing design, control the quality of drawings, oversee and coordinate the smooth execution across the construction, commissioning & handover phase.
• Lead & implement the project changes through change management process.
• Daily visit to the site, regular meeting with site agents / clients / consultants / sub‑contractors to deal with any rising issues or difficulties
• Provide executive level briefing to senior management on overall project status, risks & mitigation strategies.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience of leading the full lifecycle of data center construction projects from site selection, design & procurement through commissioning and handover. Familiar with Data Center Design and Engineering Operations, with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data centre infrastructure
• Familiar with local Data Center Construction regulations, standards and practices
• University graduated in Building Services / Structural / Construction Management / Electrical Engineering / I.T. / Computer Science or related disciplines
• Strong knowledge on the technical and techno commercial aspect of the data center project
• Familiarity with LEED, Uptime Institute, and other industry standards
• Knowledge of statutory permits associated with data center construction is preferred
